★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkné a dobře vybavené infocentrum s milou obsluhou. Doporučuji prolistovat si Nový průvodce městem Rakovníkem a jeho okolím, který je zdarma (a na webových stránkách IC volně ke stažení). Pro fandy turistických vizitek: najdete tu i speciální vydání, která už nejsou dostupná v online shopu.
Nice and well-equipped infocenter with nice and pleasant service. I recommend "A new city guide to Rakovnik and its surroundings", which is free of charge (and freely downloadable on the IC website), but I´m not sure if they got it in EN version. But you surely find some material about this beautiful town history and architecture in there.
Nice and well-equipped information center with friendly staff. I recommend browsing the New Guide to the City of Rakovník and its Surroundings, which is free (and free to download on the IC website). For fans of tourist business cards: you will also find special editions that are no longer available in the online shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I když jsme přišli těsně před zavírací dobou, tak slečna byla moc ochotná a velice dobře nám poradila restauraci, kam zajít na oběd.
Even though we arrived just before closing time, the young lady was very helpful and advised us very well on the restaurant where to go for lunch.
