The statue was built in 1723 on the western side of the deanery, in front of the former school by Countess Francis Antonie Weiszenwolf, born Countess of Lamberk. The author of the statue is unknown. In 1823 it was moved to the south side of the deanery due to the construction of a new road. During the Communists, the statue was put in the corner of the dean's garden in front of the church of st. Jiljí. On the plinth is the engraved inscription "Honori Divo Nepomuceno ex pietate Eróta" (Built from piety to the honor of St. Nepomuk).
