V roce 1998 je vytvořili čerství absolventi restaurátorské školy v Litomyšli, dnes nejmenší fakulty Univerzity Pardubice. V čelní části domu sídlí knihkupectví / antikvariát Paseka, které se významěrou zasloužilo o vznik Portmonea.
