Nous avons quand-même vu un martin-pêcheur ! La vue lors du trajet château-minaret est probablement meilleure. Good alternative to walking. 40 min for the minaret-ruin journey (Janův hrad), nice but of no other interest than spending a quiet moment on the water and avoiding walking. We did see a kingfisher though! The view on the castle-minaret journey is probably better.

B	Broňa Šuta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klidná plavba umělým kanálem, poté Černou Dyjí od Maurské vodárny k Minaretu. Spoustu zajímavostí o krásném ubíhajícím okolí se dozvíte přímo od kapitána. Quiet cruise through the artificial canal, then the Black Dyje from the Moorish Waterworks to the Minaret. A lot of attractions about the beautiful passing surroundings can be found directly from the captain.
A	Anna Kuncová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Velmi hezká procházka kolem vody. Procházíte krásnou přírodou až k minaretu. Nevýhoda jsou tu komáři. Zavřené mosty přes vodu. Cesta není dlouhá a jsou tu lavičky. Opravdu tu štípou komáři, takže repelent je opravdu nezbytný. Jinak krásné, udržované prostředí. Zajímavé prirodní úkazy. Very nice walk around the water. You walk through beautiful nature to the minaret. The downside is the mosquitoes. Closed bridges over the water. The journey is not long and there are benches. Mosquitoes are really biting here, so repellent is really necessary. Otherwise beautiful, well-kept environment. Interesting natural phenomena.
J	Jarka Bednarova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Od zámku jsme se vydali povozem s koníky na Janohrad. Odtud lodí k minaretu a pěšmo zpátky k zámku. Vycházka asi na 3 hodiny. Plavba byla příjemným zpestřením celého dne. Doporučuji. From the chateau we went by carriage with horses to Janohrad. From there take the boat to the minaret and walk back to the castle. Walk for about 3 hours. The cruise was a pleasant diversion of the whole day. I recommend.

Viděli jsme i několik zvířat a mimo jiné i úžovku, jak plave přes řeku. A boat trip to Janův hrad was the best experience of the whole area. Boats sailed every half hour, the voyage takes about 40 minutes. We also saw several animals and, among other things, a snare float across the river.
