★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tento pomník U.S. Army mám nejraději.Ty vzpomínkové akce na tomto místě jsou komorní a člověk se dostane přímo k veteránům.
Právě tady jsem jednou zaslechl, když jsem poslouchal belgického veterána, že mluví německy.
Později jsem slyšel o zuřivém boji polské Královské armády, která doprovázela Američany od vylodění-patřili prý k nejstatečnějším.
Mezi Holýšovem, Liticemi a jižní částí Plzně byl prý koncentrační tábor, ženský.
Tam proběhly težké boje.Tábor dobyla polská armáda, byl fanaticky bráněn příslušníky ROA.
Tady jsem to pochopil, že svoji specifickou historii má každá ulice, každý vchod do baráku, ten žeton (poklop) je jenom symbol.
A symbolem 2. pěší divize byl Indián, protože američané za války používali jako kódovy jazyk rec puvodnich obyvatel.
Obcas se najdou lide, kteri pripominaji, ze spojenci Plzen bombardovali, ale ze obrovska prumyslova zakladna dodavala zbrane do poslednich dnu se prilis nezminujeme.Kazda valka je hlavne o tech zlych a dobrych, zadne jine deleni neexistuje.
Městská poliklinika ošetřovala během nejtěžšího náletu nepřetržitě.
