★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cozy place to eat something and to drink a cold czech beer. Hilarious, near 6 embassies! Has a nice terrace next to the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked my soup and they let me order a side of dumplings with it because you should never eat a meal without dumplings in CZ. Spouse was a bit iffy on the barley risotto. Decent prices, good beer, friendly staff that spoke really good English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good cafe with traditional dishes. They have czech drink - kofola, it's like cola. Large portions and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very simple and average food.
The stuff is very friendly and welcoming, also they speak and have menu in English.
We had the mixed skewer (red meat, pork and chicken), which looked impressive but tasted a little dry. It came with a nice cabbage salad and type of "smetana" sauce, which we personally found not as the best match for the meat.
I liked the cucumber salad - fresh and crispy, though it comes in a bowl soaked in some sweet liquid, which is not for everybody's taste.
We also had two soups- one goulash which was ok, and the duck liver soup, which had a very soft taste- maybe too tasteless for some.
Overall, not bad but maybe too pricey for the type of food they are serving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good traditionnal food and beer in a very quiet alley. Nice staff and reasonable prices. You can access it by the Museum Montanelli alley entrance. Keep walking and you will find it right passed a record store. Better food and experience than the touristy places in Old town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place, although, not really spectacular por the price.
We came here in an snowy day, and it was absolutely fantastic to have a hot meal with a delicious soup (thr potato soup is superb). The beer is great, very good flavor and served very cold.
The food was very good, we tried the duck and the roasted boar, but as I mentioned earlier, we have had better food for a similar price. The place is beautiful, wood finish everywhere, including the hardwood floors. There are hangers all around the place for coats and purses, which is very convenient. Also, there are tables of various different sizes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, great prices, real authentic Czech restaurant. This place was such a pleasant surprise we had to go twice. Really enjoyed the sausage, soups, schnitzel and ribs. Don't forget to order the fresh strudel.
