The food and drinks are nice. Good atmosphere, it makes you feel like you just had a trip to another country. However, the service is bad. The waitress (I believe it was Tyna based on the instagram stories) is rude and ruining everything. I, as well as many people I know would like to come back to that place, but we are re-thinking it as we do not wanna pay minimum 1000 kc in a place where people are rude and not welcoming. Maybe the problem is just that she does not like this job. Good job with the concept and food though!

Not clearly stated prices, tap water, which was not ordered appeared on bill. Except of these, nice food and fine atmospehere.

Beautiful interior, prime location, nice tapas, but the staff really need some customer service training - we were served by an unfriendly blond waitress who seemed to be annoyed by our presence. We would not come again.

The newest trend in Brno is the tapas bar. Although some other options exist, Barrio Gotico delivers a fresh experience worthy of a visit. The drinks list is on the fresh side, with fruity cocktails, as well as classics. Sparkling wine is on offer and if you go with friends, try the sangria! Do try the Chupito shots - very refreshing! OPTIONS. you don't order from a menu, rather you go inside and chose what you want to have - cold or warm options: salami, cheese, olives, small sandwiches with chorizo - there's something for every taste! Posh Spanish tapas bar with great fingers-size food and wine. As me and my friend went to the bar for the first time, we were explained how does it work at the place. The food placed in cooling boxes on the ground floor can be taken to the table and paid at the end. The price is defined by number of used wooden toothpicks that are sticked in the finger-food size. There is also an option to order hot tapas that staff prepares. The piece of cold tapas costs 35 crowns per portion, the prices for hot tapas varies and are twice or three times higher than cold tapas. So just count with that. As we sat down, the waitress asked us about the drinks and recommended us wine. Spanish wine that I was drinking was very good. I liked that before pouring the wine to my glass I was asked if I want to taste it first. Me and my friend went for one of hot tapas for each person, and 3 pieces of cold tapas. Hot tapas was amazing! I recommend the shrimps. Regarding the interior, the place has very small ground floor where the food and few places to sit. The -1 floor offers a lot of places to sit, and +1 floor offers not so many places to sit, but is very cozy and romantic with light chains. In general, I recommend you to try this place. Either it would be for some Spanish food and wine, or to take out someone for romantic evening, I think the place can fulfill your expetations.

Highly recommend if you love Tapas. Pro - they have variety of wine for us to choose. Staff are nice and friendly. Nice and good size of tapas. Con - it happened many times that we don’t get a table because they are full but I understand it.

If a Spanish person tasted these tapas, she would be very ashamed. You need to book a table if you wanna sit in the outside, however the food is not delicious at all :( foreigners wouldn’t like it, not recommended.
