It seems to be quite difficult to find authentic Chinese food in Europe, so it was great to find this place. Good customer service, nice outdoor seating area, English menu, and tasty Sichuan cuisine. A little on the pricey side. If you like mala cuisine, the "extra spicey" is not very hot so maybe ask for extra!

the menu was a bit unreadable, however, the food was nice. Sushi was extremely fresh and looked very good! The prices are also very high, but it’s worth it.

The service was excellent I really enjoyed the food and the mood was very chill and family friendly. The price is little on the expensive side but for the quality of food it's worthy. The meat it's so soft but still juicy can't get enough.

A mixed bag experience for authentic Chinese (Sichuan) food in the centre of Prague Basu presents itself as a kind of upscaled Chinese restaurant (specialised in regional Sichuan cuisine). Located in the backyard of a shopping mall in the very center of old town, the offered cuisine was ok without particular highlights but came with a relatively hefty price (for what you get and where you are). The place: the restaurant obviously tries to present itself as an upscale restaurant succeeding only partially. While some decorations and part of the overall design convey an attempt to a sophistication that is not really achieved, the final feeling is not particularly pleasant. The lights are dimmed and cold, bringing kind of a sad feeling. Making customer order their dinner through a tablet is not a good idea. The tablet was a bit greasy and not cleaned. The service: the service is the highlight of the dinner. Staff is always pleasant and nice. Even open to a joke and always keeping a smile that you can guess behind the masks. Flexible and patient they have met all our requests and wishes. A definite plus for the service The food: while not bad, the food seemed nothing special. Considering the attempt to present themselves as an upscale establishment (and having prices partially reflecting such attempt), I was expecting way more from the dishes coming to our table. Fried dumplings were overcooked and broken (several had holes or breaks) which made them quite dry (while a dumpling should be succulent and juicy inside). Taste was ok. Beef on a hot plate had the same defect. It was ok, but nothing I will remember or that will make me suggest the place to anyone. Maybe after being spoiled at lunch in a very different restaurant my expectations were raised, but overall instead the dinner felt kind of a let down. The price: considering the environment and the food, the final price (around 35 euro) is way too high. Drinks are heavily overpriced. Overall the restaurant was not bad, but didn’t reach anywhere the threshold for me to wish to be back. It only got 3 stars thanks to a great service, otherwise I would have given 2.

Very satisfying hotpot restaurant. The taste is pretty rich with lots of seasoning. The garlic sesame oil is the best! Recommended if you like Asian hotpot.

This place is absolutely delicious! Although the food is a bit pricey, it is worth it. The pictures shown on the menu may seem like small portions of food but they are not- the portions are huge. Service is friendly and would definitely come back again!

I have eaten here now about 5-6 times in total. The spicy sichuan soup is tasty and just with the right balance. I always order the extra spicy soup. The fresh ingredients and the veggies are always of good quality. My favourite is the premium chuck flap. All the waiters here are super polite and friendly. The mochi ice creams, especially the sesame one is delicious. I am not giving 5 stars because they serve the hot pot individually, not in the usual big pot where you can share which is typically found at other Sichuan or mala or chengdu hot pot places.

Excellent all around! The waiters are extremely polite and helpful and attentive even during the busy Christmas rush. They speak English and Mandarin Chinese so they are very versatile. Additionally the ingredients for the hot pot were all fresh and of good quality! I've come here twice so far and will be coming here again many more times!
