Best place in the area to shop good and healthy products without packaging. Just bring your boxes. In addition to basic products, you can find some vegetables, sirup, hummous, olives, milk, bread, soap, bottles, juices, jams, fresh peanut butter...

Grocery shopping without packaging. You can bring your own bags and jars or you can buy reusable bags inside. Great variety of food and prices mostly reasonable: comparable to supermarket or even cheaper.

They have peanut butter! This is my most frequented zero waste store I go to here in Prague. Mostly because of the peanut butter. Also it's fill yourself, which is great for people who have anxiety talking to people. Or who don't know that much czech. Staff usually know english but sometimes only very little. They've pretty much got all the bulk and dried foods you could need. plus things like shampoo bars, toothbrushes, conditioner, liquid soap, etc.

I love the idea of non-packing stores. I do my shopping only in them. For ecological reasons. The main problem I have with bezobalu is that a lot of products are imported from such countries as China or Canada, which means transportation by plane. This is unacceptable in the time of climate crisis. At the beginning you tried to have mostly local suppliers and to know them in person. Now it is changing to a big shop with foreign suppliers where you do not know them personally and you use means of transportation that is killing the planet. (The solution would be to find local suppliers for local products and radically limit the "exotic" products: we do not need 10 types of nuts, 4 types of chocolate, and 6 types of rice for living...) Another problem connected to it are rising prices. I would understand it if at least half of the price would go to people that really work on the production of the goods: in fields, doing hard work. But that's not the case - people that profit from it are wealthy, working comfortably in front of their computers, not doing hard physical labor day after day... High prices make the shop inaccessible to most of the population. This could be solved by reducing the prices as well as by accepting "stravenky" that would help a lot of people that are not well-off...

I love this place! They have everything and more! Foods, oils, shampoos, soaps, ingredients for DIY cosmetics, vegan-friendly... I will definitely come back! The only thing is that I was charged +35 Kč for a more expensive shampoo although I took the cheaper one (on purpose). i would also appreciate some clear instructions how it works with the self-service and scaling.

Nice concept: no more of this plastic packaging that is surrounding us everywhere. And those glass jars that usually end up in the trash can be brought here for other customers to use. Supermarkets should introduce this idea much more than they do right now.
