We each have our reasons for attending (Networking, New Business Opportunities; Maybe a new job opportunity? Or a couple-of-day getaway) but my personal opinion is that conference attendance enhances both your professional and personal development, as well as providing you with tools and skills which you cannot be taught in-house or online.
The focused nature of learning at a conference allows you to go deeper with the understanding of your topic of interest and give you another perspective that you maybe didn't see before.
I will join this event next year again.
