★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkné místo a prostředí, ale malý výběr jídla a zákusků. Káva by se měla podávat na tácku a kuchař by měl změnit značku hranolků -ty, co jsem měla byly bez chuti.
 Nice place and environment, but a small selection of food and desserts. Coffee should be served on a tray and the chef should change the brand of fries - what I had was tasteless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vynikající podnik v centru Ostravy, pan majitel je snaživý člověk a pro spokojenost zákazníka udělá maximum. Jídlo po celý den - ráno káva a výborná snídaně, která uspokojí kdejakého hisptera, odpoledne skvělý burger a večer nově vodní dýmka. Spokojenost.
Excellent business in the center of Ostrava, the owner is a diligent person and will do his best to satisfy the customer. Food all day - coffee and delicious breakfast in the morning, which will satisfy any hisptera, great burger in the afternoon and new hookah in the evening. Satisfaction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kavárna po 11 letech zažívá návrat svých původních majitelů a zakladatelů, kteří si kavárnu převzali zpět od 1.září 2015. Kavárna je nově zcela nekuřácká, k dispozici je nové menu, rozšířená nabídka snídaní od klasických jako například Anglická snídadě či vejce a la Benedikt až po zdravé snídaně plné ovoce a cereálíí nebo ovocné čerstvé smoothies. V denní nabídce jsou domácí koláče, záviny, bábovky a dezerty. Vzhledem k tomu, že majitelé se věnují také dovozu francouzských vín, nabízí Černá Hvězda nabídku vín z Provence se značkami jako domaine Grandpré, La Sufrenne či excelentní Gros Noré. K vínům se skvěle hodí čerstvé saláty, tapasy a sýrové mísy s inspirací ve středomořské kuchyni. Platba kartou je zde rovněz samozřejmostí.

The café is after 11 years experiencing the return of its original owners and founders, who took over the café since September 1, 2015. The café is newly completely non-smoking, a new menu is available, an expanded breakfast menu ranging from traditional breakfasts After a healthy breakfast full of fruit and cereal or fruity fresh smoothies. The daily menu includes homemade cakes, strudels, cakes and desserts. Due to the fact that the owners are also engaged in the importation of French wines, Černá Hvězda offers wines from Provence with brands such as domaine Grandpré, La Sufrenne or excellent Gros Noré. The wines are great for fresh salads, tapas and cheese dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. Payment by card is also a matter of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kávička po obědě nám na tomto místě výjimečně chutnala. Slečně, co nás obsluhovala, to velmi slušelo. Donesla nám pravé lungo, k tomu vafle s jahodami a neodolali jsme ani Legendariu za celkem ucházející cenu. Naprostá spokojenost. :o)
We enjoyed the coffee after lunch exceptionally at this place. Miss, who served us, it suited her very well. She brought us a real lungo, waffles with strawberries, and we couldn't resist the Legendary for a very good price. Absolute satisfaction. :O)
