★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a sucker for small(er) bookstore or chains. As a foreigner it's not like they have anything special for me, but I appreciate that the selection is smaller, all in one row, and I never have to wade through crowds. Plus, though the staff doesn't speak English, they are always super pleasant and helpful, which is different from the bigger stores in Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Middle sized venue offering broad spectrum of books. Good thing is you can order online ahead and just pick it up. The best feature is the possibility of paying with benefit points which are given to employees by many businesses. You will find here board games, cups chocolates and other gifts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knihy Dobrovský is a good chain of bookstores. Good selection of mainstream books, helpful staff. I believe we should, however, support local stores with history, ties to alternative publishers etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the English books section here, lots of popular titles that I was looking for! If you have trouble finding it, ask the personnel - they are so friendly! What I found super interesting was that right opposite the English titles sat the translated books in Czech (what was available, at least) so you could easily pick both if you wanted.
Entrance is wheelchair accessible ♿ and they accept credit cards ?. Really recommend!
