★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skvělé místo plné energie a historie.. děti bych tam volně lézt po zdech nenechal, směrem k rybníku hloubka cca 10 metrů k silnici. Cesta od odbočky trochu cross, ale ok
 Great place full of energy and history .. I would not let children climb the walls freely, towards the pond a depth of about 10 meters to the road. The road from the turn a little cross, but ok

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vzpomínky na dětství na Moninci s pravidelnými výlety právě na Borotín jistě ovlivní mé hodnocení. Je to zřícenina, ale tehdy mě to bavilo víc, než hodinové prohlídky zámků s průvodcem.
Nicméně jde o krásné a klidné místo. Pokud v přilehlém statku zrovna neprobíhá svatba, lze zaparkovat asi 50 m chůze od zříceniny.
Přesto nejde jen o pár rozpadlých zdí. Při troše šikovnosti lze najít různé průlezy a otvory, které je nutno prozkoumat.
Memories of my childhood in Moninec with regular trips to Borotín will certainly influence my evaluation. It's a ruin, but at the time I enjoyed it more than hour-long guided tours of the castles.
However, it is a beautiful and quiet place. If a wedding is not taking place in the adjacent farm, you can park about 50 m walk from the ruins.
Still, it's not just a few dilapidated walls. With a little dexterity, you can find various manholes and openings that need to be explored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freely accessible ruins of a mediaeval castle situated just outside of Borotín village. Next to the cast is a baroque farm which is being renovated at the moment. There is a lake below the caste with beautiful views of the ruins over the water. This is a beautiful place worth a visit.
