Boskovice Bus Station

I liked it in the past, but I would like to cover it, just like in Blansko!

Waiting room clean in winter pleasantly heated. Toilets always clean. The lady at the window is always nice and willing to advise. This can no longer be said of some bus drivers. The outdoor area has a lack of benches and roofs against rain and sun, and since the sun shines all day at the station in summer, waiting outside is very unpleasant. Any greenery is missing. The station is one large asphalt area.

They have a covered waiting room with a coffee machine or cocoa. Toilets are paid, but they look good. There is also a window where you can buy tickets.

February 2021: Everything is quite the same, the operation of a small building with a heated waiting room and toilet is limited to 16:00 on weekends and then you are unlucky with a coin toilet (that's for 5 CZK, which is a plus). Inside the vending machine, two info windows and outside a lighted board with departures now all connections. In the cabins on the toilet, the light will still go out after a minute, then complete darkness. Still one shelter, always for up to four platforms. But the number of drunks begging for booze has decreased. Summer 2017: There is a smaller heated room for passengers, also an information window, also a toilet and a vending machine for drinks, there is a light board outside, which ends the pros. They didn't provide any information about the connections outside the IDS (at least to me about ICOM) here by the window, even though they pass through here. And if you do not have suitable coins, then you are unlucky in front of the toilet (you can try to change at the windows). However, after a minute, the lighting inside the cabins will go out, which unfortunately is not for a photocell in them, and it will only light up again when you leave the cab, so you are hanging out in complete darkness! The platforms have small covered shelters, but always only one for about four, if more than five people are waiting, plus luggage, so you just get wet in the rain. Begging drunkards also often hang out here.

Very modern nice bus station

It is not representative, but I would call it a better average. I definitely appreciate the fairly clean, well-kept train station. Unfortunately, the individual platforms offer little or no space to wait for the bus. The interior of the station building is quite cozy, providing shelter from the rain, coffee machine and paid toilets. So you will not suffer any harm. There is a light information board on the building with the departures of individual connections, and inside they will be happy to provide you with further information if you are in trouble during working hours. The connection search term before it does not work. There is also a Albert supermarket and the train station is not far away
