Poslání botanické zahrady
Teplická botanická zahrada, jediná v Ústeckém kraji, v blízkosti lázeňského parku a v sousedství Písečného vrchu a Janáčkových sadů, je skvělým místem pro všechny generace. Venku je možné relaxovat, popíjet kávu a poznávat světové zajímavosti. Z celkové rozlohy asi dvou hektarů je zhruba polovina věnována venkovní expozici, výstavní skleníky zaujímají plochu 2 700 m².
Vytváříme a uchováváme vědecky dokumentované sbírky rostlin. Návštěvník v nich nachází nejen poučení, ale i chvíle úniku z technického světa do kultivovaného a esteticky hodnotného prostředí. Nezanedbatelná je i funkce inspirační – zahrádkáři a pěstitelé pokojových rostlin u nás nacházejí jak atraktivní nové či málo známé druhy a formy rostlin, tak i vzory k jejich využití. Prohlédnout si můžete také faunu ve výstavních sklenících. V tropickém skleníku je zajímavostí tzv. křížovkářský záhon, na kterém najdete rostliny, jejichž názvy znáte z tajenek.
Naším cílem je vytvořit nejen moderní botanickou zahradu na úrovni 21. století, ale zejména místo, kam se budete rádi vracet a trávit zde svůj volný čas. Buďte s námi u toho!

I always found this place really nice, peaceful and an alternative way to spend an afternoon or just few hours.
I would totally bring my kids (if I had any) to teach them about nature, flowers and teach them about respecting the environment.
Teplice is a small town, with small and nice "everything": coffees, restaurants, hotels and so it is the botanical garden but all of them lovely.

There are a very small section for fishes.
The internal part is air conditioned and surrounded by tropical sounds which gives you a very wonderful tropical atmosphere.
A must visit when you are in Teplice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely small botanical garden with an outside part and a greenhouse. It also disposes of a café and you can even get married here! The garden has only been established about some 20 years ago, but especially towards the end of the spring season and over the summer season offers plenty to see. You can also find a reading and a relaxing zone and a relaxing lawn for barefoot walking.
