Botič Student House

I NEVER RECOMMEND IT . They required me if I don't want to pay penalty, I should clean up the floor, restroom drawer, top of the refrigerator, even though I didn't touched.

Warning! Warning! Warning! Please do not use services of Botic. Overpriced: the rate is 7800 czk for a SHARED room. Horrible services: kitchen is shared with 20 people and is most of the time dirty. Rude staff: stop your guests and make you wait for everything.And worst: THEY LOST AN IMPORTANT VISA LETTER. Avoid, there is plenty of other options in Prague.

I am already living here for half a year and I am counting days until I'll be able to leave this place (due to contract rules). Every week is a new adventure here: elevator isn't working, wi-fi issues (terrible speed in some rooms), sewerage problems, etc. Pretty high extra fees waiting for you on every laundry (laundry with non working dryers). Switchers in rooms response from 3rd, 4th time, pseudo-economical water taps are needed to be pushed always, if you need sustain waterflow and same thing with showers: infra-red sencors are terrible. Everything wouldn't be so bad if it woudn't cost about 300 euros per month and administration wouldn't use fines as the primary way of communication with residents.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I've lived in this place for 6 months, I couldn't get out sooner because of their 3 months cancellation rule. They Rip students off for everything (laundry, cleaning and ...) internet is so slow and kitchen is always messy and strongly recommend to not try this place during summer because it's a human microwave and there is no Ac + it's full of flys because of the river next to it. If you gonna live in Prague Try to search for a shared flat you can get something way better than this for SURE.

A COMPLETE SCAM! I have lived here for 3 months and I could not be more disappointed. The only good thing about this place is that the beds are comfortable, the tram stop is only 2minutes away and there is a cute coffee shop downstairs from the residence (which I completely recommend as the coffee and food is delicious). Why not come here? Where can I start? - Unfriendly and unprofessional staff, half of the time they were never keen to help, or were never at the reception, and I would have to wait a long time, countless times in order for them to give me a service. -Things break or stop working an enumerable amount of times, almost EVERY WEEK it was someyhing new; the one slow lift, the kitchen, and the most fun one of all, the electricity!! They were very sneaky with this one, as on the contract it claims that within 3 working days, if something does not work, the client will have the right to be informed how the defect will be handled. Nothing was ever informed after a few weeks later after the many times it had been switched off, and many times asking for an alternative solution, that the manager told us there was manual way to turn the electricity on. They would always turn it off on a Thursday and turn it back on a Monday (as of course, Saturday and Sunday being working days as specified on the contract). As a student, it was tough to work without electricity and you would have to find a coffee shop or elsewhere to work. The last thing I will say is that a shared room with 3 other people is 7800ck, with 1 small fridge, a sensor shower and bathroom to share. They will continue to increase the prices in September. There are better student houses out there, where you can get your own room, and cheaper! Or even a shared flat costs less!! I could say much more about this place but the list goes on and on... I hope Botic read this, and turn the place around and make it a better place, otherwise, I guarantee it will go downhill, as many other students and I were very angry about this whole scenario.

For the price one pays (25€ single room) its not bad but far away from town (25 mins tram ride to old town) and not possible to get any meals. I would not really recommend unless you are really tight on options or prefer to live far from town. Even the cafe around the corner is closed on weekends. There's construction work on the rooftop going on so best avoided for at least a few months.

Student house is not very good. An unfriendly woman named MASHA works at the reception!!! Laundry costs 6€, there is no good grocery store near the house! The gym is useless. But there are also +, excellent employees, such as ANGELINA, EGOR, IGOR, NADYA, LIZA, SONIA and DANIIAR! Love them! Great student club, great ping-pong! There are also very small refrigerators in the rooms.
