★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop at brewery is the place to buy best upon leaving the town. There you can find all the possible Budvar beers as well as souvenirs. Buy limited term beer - the best from all the Budweiser line, this beer can't be found abroad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour in English... More details than the tour at PU and this time the brewery was operating... The smell of the malt/mash in the brewery was wonderful. The beer from the cellar maturation tank was exceptional... Worth the trip for the 1400/tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again. The beer is - as usual - good but the service is outrageously bad.
It seems that the waiters think that the earth is flat and the sun circles around the earth.
I patiently waited for the bill... like 10 minutes although the place was completely empty....
So if you wanna dink a good Czech Budweiser, go somewhere else. It does not matter where, you will be treated like king compared to how you will be treated here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Budvar on a rainy day, because we wanted some indoor activity. The guided tour takes aprox. 60 minutes. Since September, there is only one tour, with the start at 2 p.m. We recommend to come sooner. There is also an interactive beer museum at the customer center, where you can get information about the history of Budvar brewery. The visit of the museum is free. Very good was also a short film in the Budvar cinema.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing tour today! Simply put, our tour guide, Milada (and a volunteer btw) was amazing. What passion she has for the company she represents. The tour was extremely informative. We were taken to all areas of the brewery and got to see all the behind the scenes action. The beer tasting was great—straight from the barrel. Again, our tour guide was so amazing. Treat her well, Budvar.
