 The building in the neo-renaissance style was built by Jindřich Gabler in 1903-1904 for the reservoir and the pumping station of the Smíchov waterworks. The technological equipment was supplied by Ringhoffer ... The operation was terminated after 1972 in connection with the commencement of the supply of drinking water from Prague from the Želivka dam.
