The staff is very nice and friendly.
Considering the location the prices are just slightly above the average, which is to be expected.

If owners get soy or wheat milk, this place would get elevated to godly levels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every little thing about this place is perfect!! If you come, make sure to ask what cakes he has available. They aren’t kept out to see. We had a homemade ginger cake with plum preserves and fresh whipped cream. The cakes, preserves and whip cream are made fresh every day. It’s tucked away in the tower of the castle. Amazing view from inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this little cafe. Sitting on the outside terrace with a glass of wine was just wonderful. Their homemade sweets are delicious! We had a slice of freshly baked pie, full of wild berries that had been picked locally. Very lovely people as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this little cafe. A great example of offering just a few selections of extremely high quality, while showing great care and attention to detail for their guests.
Coffee was excellent, and the blueberry cake was home made from local handpicked wild blueberries.
The friendly owner who waited on us is rightfully proud of his homemade white wines and offered to let us taste a bit of his dry, semi dry and sweet, gratis. Very very good wine. We were so impressed we bought two bottles of his dry wine to take home with us.
We will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 lovely young girls prepared our coffee & gingerbread cake which was very good! It is a nice place to chill as we waited for our castle tour to start. The coffee here is better than a restaurant in town too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Coffee and super friendly staff - we'll be back for some cake! There is a nice patio outside where you can realx and cool down. All the cakes are home made - highly recommended.
