★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place to camp with heaps of old mining equipment to check out. They also have a tennis court, soccer field, playground, 3 pubs and a little petting zoo. Couldn't recommend more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very free and easy place with accommodating staff, who while their English wasn't excellent we're really trying.
The campsite is based around a park and coal mining museum. (Worth dropping into)
Toilets and showers are fine and quite spacious. The camp kitchen is, however, a little cramped and cooking for multiple people could be difficult.
The camping is an open public area, so the security of valuables is a must, and we were advised to lock bicycles.
I would happily go back again.
