Camp Morning Star - Volšovská 220

This camp resembles a communist camp. It's outdated and it's worth the ride. The beds are dirty and the cottages are not doing well either. And don't connect to WiFi because the owner won't give you a password.

I really do not recommend this campsite if you want to spend your vacation without losing your temper. The cottages are horrible, it pulls into them through doors and windows, and we are afraid that they will fall on our heads at any moment. The beds in the cottages are also worthless, they are soft, they stink (even the sheets don't beat the stench) and God knows what lives in mattresses, duvets and pillows. Hot water in the showers flows only from 18:00 to 21:00, and that either does not flow at all, or I take a shower for up to 3 people, because it heats under the boiler in the showers and the heat logically does not last long. If you want hot water outside of this time, you must arrange with the local owner, which is quite difficult. You must take toilet paper with you. There is no cut grass in the campsite, so before you get anywhere you have wet feet and probably a few ticks. I'd rather not even comment on the food, because eating the liver for two days in a row and always having a croissant with ham or cheese for breakfast is really awful and the owner doesn't want to change anything even after agreement. There are only 3 toilets for women and 3 for men, which is absolutely insufficient. The owner will not even provide a password for WiFi, so you will not miss the habit. You will pay CZK 400 per night for this scary accommodation, and I think that is overpriced for this horror. Each review also has benefits, but unfortunately I did not find any here. I think in the end a few words are enough: I will never show up here in life!

Accommodation that has not received any renovation from its position. So maybe once in a while there is painting and bedding, that's all. Not far from the city, quiet and pleasant environment. If you are thinking about eating, I recommend you drop it, it's not worth it. (Photo is taken on the Black Lake, which is about 35km from the place)

We didn't even turn off the engine upon arrival. The owner came right after us, we looked at the cottages and left immediately. Sometimes you may come across this retro style, but offering this in the 21st century is a real shame.

It's in a nice place in the woods but it popped down, the wooden houses were neglected, I don't recommend it, I only lived in one house when I was there

Perfect retro style, excellent for sleeping, the only thing I can reproach is the missing socket in the cabin, I had to gasoline for phone charger

After visiting this camp, I was breathing the spirit of socialism. In the 1980s, as a teenager, I spent a week with a school in a similar facility at Vranov Dam. Here in the camp Jitřenka probably remained all the original as it was in the nineties of the last century privatized (unfortunately including pillows, blankets, cabinets and the like). At least, there was hot water in the shared bathroom. If someone wants to spend their free time in this camp voluntarily, only at their own risk. Or as an illustrative example of what we (the Husak's children) grew up in. It's just my personal opinion, but I don't think I'm going to sleep in this camp for another night.

As a child every year it was an amazing 14 days at the camp. When she returned here after 20 years, I was just disappointed. Damage.
