Capsule Hostel Prague

Very nice hostel. Very small in the middle of an apartment building, but comfortable beds and very clean. Just keep in mind that the double beds on the top get a little warm and stuffy at night.

Very friendly and very clean. 3 complete bathrooms, but in one bathroom is coming the wastewater from the drainage up. It's a Prague- problem on rainy days. If you arriving by bicycle make sure before you book, that you can store your bike IN the hostel and not out in the house corridors. First night someone from the house stolen my tools from the bike. After a discussion with the manager I was able to store the bike on the balcony.

If "capsule" is the future for hostel bed design coming out of Japan, then the amazing Capsule Hostel Prague has the even more comfy, Westerner-friendly setup that is ingenious! Roomy and sturdy in one bed - or two in loft beds - and with your own privacy bed shade, light, socket, shelf and hooks. The free-list goes on and on: coffee, tea, much-appreciated breakfast items, towel, locker and lock, body wash, hair dryer… Even a welcome bottled water! I also love the spotless facilities throughout, with a family warmth and Prague’s traditional charm. Quiet but with a great communal feel. I’ve stayed in countless hostels in many countries, and this is as PERFECT as it gets! (I tried very hard to come up with a friendly "suggestion" but couldn't find any complaints.) But the best of all are the people - David and Rita, Gleb, Marina, Victoria, and everyone who works here. Throughout my LONG and REPEATED stays they were unfailingly tentative, caring, and kind. They love their hostel and their guests, and I truly feel it. (You know how on the road some guests are perpetually (/naturally) grumpy? But at Capsule I heard only good remarks from absolutely everyone. That tells you everything you need to know in my book. :)) Thank you all, my Capsule friends, for the best part of my Prague memory. Next time I’d like to stay even longer - if you think I’m as good a guest as you are a host. You all rock! :D

Comfortable beds and mattresses, I slept well. The friendly staff helped with advice about the most interesting sights of Prague. The hostel is very clean. A big plus is the presence of separate boxes for personal belongings that can be locked. In General, the price corresponds to the quality

Everything was great. Thank you! - The location about 10 min from the main train station. - The cleaning was magnificent. - the staff was friendly and kind. - although It’s next to a music club it was quiet and I didn’t listen music or noises. - the kitchen is well equipped. - the heating was working properly and it was warm in the bedroom also the bathrooms. - breakfast was free there was: tea, coffee, bread, jam, cereals and seasoning. - free lockers with lock included. - privacy in the “capsules”. When You shut your curtain. - really comfortable mattresses and clean bedsheets. They also offer a towel.

A very nice and cozy place. The kitchen is fully equipped. Cozy rooms, peace and quiet, very friendly service. And most importantly - a very low price.

I stayed in this hostel for three nights in a 6 bed dormitories room. Weather was like -10 C but radiator was not working for all three days.water Heater was not working properly. Bathroom was not so clean and I had a horrible experience.

I would like to describe my stay but we arrived at the location to be informed that it is no longer a hostel and is now a private apartment. The new occupant informed us that this has not been a hostel for several months. The owners continue to allow you to book at this location however so stay clear!! Shame you can’t rate lower that 1 star.
