After they found success in Prague, Carlini opened a bakery in Brno too. You can find sourdough breads, ciabatta, croissants etc.
Something really tasty here is the focaccia. It's amazing! And it comes in many flavours, depending on the day: with oregano, rosemary, onions, bacon shavings, tomatoes+olives etc...
They also have italian sweets and muffins!
Furthermore you can buy high quality ingredients, such as flours (various kinds and quantities), bread starters, olive oil, spices etc... You can have a look on their website for a full list :D

Moreover, I love to eat the pastry and breads while they are still warm....and those muffs were cold. ? Higher prices. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their focaccia is heavenly - the rosemary is my favorite - I have not seen anything similar around Brno and many times not even in Italy.
We also love their "loupak", it is not the traditional czech recipe but there is a nice sour twist in the taste that is unique. I also recommend the cinnamon bun - I do like that it is more crispy then soft, unlike many other places.
I am not a particular fun of muffins or the "loupakoule" but the quality is great on everything I have tried here.
Also I have to say that service is always great and staff friendly and welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love sourdough bread and this is a perfect place for that in Brno. The Italian owners are making and offering their own pastry and pasta. Plus there is a lot of other Italian high quality groceries that you can buy here, such as olive oil, dried tomatoes, pesto, sardines, etc.
The bread I bought was great! I asked staff for recommendation and got the bread with big holes inside, exactly as I wanted. I was told that it's possible to order bread online in advance. This way, the bakery has time to prepare sourdough as fermentation of yeast takes some time, and customers can be sure that they have fresh bread.
If you live close by, or have a way through city center, make a small detour and try sourdough bread at this place. I believe you will like it.
