★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jako každá zricenine...pěkné prostředí na vysinach v přírodě.... nebyl jsem zde poprvé ale poprvé za mlhy...ale jinak dobré... A pěšky do Plzně ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkný pozůstatek jednoho z nejstarších hradů v Čechách. Kromě příkopu kolem jádra hradu a zbytků obranné zdi je zde také možné vidět zbytek valu u předhradí. A pak různé prohlubně a zbytky zdiva v jádru hradu. Je odsud pěkný výhled na Plzeň a borskou přehradu. Určitě se sem vyplatí udělat výlet.

In addition to the moat around the core of the castle and the remains of the defensive wall, it is also possible to see the rest of the rampart at the fort. And then various depressions and remnants of masonry in the core of the castle. There is a nice view of Pilsen and the Bor dam from here. Definitely worth a trip here.

Ostrožna was inhabited in prehistoric times, the castle was founded here probably in the first half of the 13th century. and thus belonged to the oldest aristocratic castles in our country.
