První písemná zpráva o obci pochází z roku 1239. V těch dobách tudy vedla významná obchodní cesta. Panovnické družiny i kupci, kteří putovali od Prahy přes Ořech, Třebotov a Černošice, museli mezi Dolními a Horními Mokropsy přebrodit Mži (dnešní Berounku) a pak vystoupat podél Všenorského potoka k Černolicím a Řitce. Tady se oddělovala jedna trasa k Bechyňsku a druhá trasa - Zlatá stezka - k Prachaticím. Podél ní se do Čech vozila sůl. Dnes v obci žije přibližně 500 stálých obyvatel. Doslova zlatým místním pokladem jsou nádherné Černolické skály. The first written record of the village dates from 1239. In those days, a significant trade route led here. Royal companions and merchants who traveled from Prague through Ořech, Třebotov and Černošice villages had to ford Berounka river between Dolní and Horní Mokropsy and then ascend along the Všenory stream to Černolice and Řitka. Here, one route to Bechyně and the other route - the Golden Trail - to Prachatice were divided. Salt was transported to Bohemia along it. Today, about 500 permanent residents dwell in the village. The beautiful Černolické rocks are literally a golden local treasure.
