★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lake, beautiful nature. Very well accessible by bikes, skies or walking. Not far from Spicak parking or Zelezna Ruda.
Ideal for all day trip with children's or family.
Easy to continue to Cerne lake. Many boards with history description and interesting infos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great place for a weekend get-away. An abundance of accommodation, all price ranges. Plenty of places for walking; or just so nothing.
The late summer was perfect time. While most of Czechia was hot, we enjoyed nice comfortable temperatures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the five glacier lakes located in Sumava National Park. You can take a very well organized hiking route from Spicak to see it. The paths are easy to walk and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. I have noticed that for the hiking routes in Czech Republic, Google maps don’t always show the best way, so it’s better if you double check the way on Mapy cz where you can see all local hiking routes including shortcuts.
