Působil v Uničově, v Litomyšli, v Lanškrouně, v Brně, v Olomouci, ve Šternberku. Snažil se obnovovat katolicismus, v roce 1601 vydal "Kancionál, to jest sebrání spěvův pobožných".
 Jan Rozenplut (1550 - 1602) was born in July. He studied in Olomouc and in 1580 he was ordained a Catholic priest. He worked in Uničov, Litomyšl, Lanškroun, Brno, Olomouc, Šternberk. He tried to restore Catholicism, in 1601 he published "Hymnal, that is, the collection of the hymns of the singing".
