★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bizarní budova banky připomínající spíše mauzoleum polistopadového bankovnictví, se stavěla v době velkého bankovního rozmachu. Jejími autory jsou architekti Jiří Kňákal, Zdeněk Šťastný a Luboš Kotiš. Podobu budovy České spořitelny v Hrnčířské ulici začali architekti rozpracovávat v roce 1991, stavba byla dokončena o čtyři roky později. Druhého října 1995 se spořitelna slavnostně otevřela. Paralelně s tím ovšem přicházela mohutná vlna digitalizace, takže objekt skončil jako zbytečně naddimenzovaný.
The bizarre building of the bank, reminiscent of the mausoleum of the post-communist Czech banking, was built at a time of great banking boom. It´s authors are architects Jiří Kňákal, Zdeněk Šťastný and Luboš Kotiš. The design of the Česká spořitelna building in Hrnčířská Street was elaborated by architects in 1991, the construction was completed four years later. On the second of October 1995, the Bank opened a ceremony. Parallel to this however there was a massive wave of digitization, so the object finished as over-sized.
 The bizarre building of the bank, more reminiscent of the mausoleum of post-November banking, was built during the great banking boom. The architects began to develop the appearance of the Česká spořitelna building in Hrnčířská Street in 1991, and the construction was completed four years later. On October 2, 1995, the savings bank was inaugurated. At the same time, however, came a massive wave of digitization, so that the building ended up being unnecessarily oversized.
