The bus station impressed by its size. For a small town is very large, multifunctional, three-story, buses come and go from the third floor, on the two lower floors are located cafes, shops, travel agency, everything is convenient. We really liked it, we need more of these bus stations.

Interestingly designed bus station was inaugurated on April 1, 2007 on the top floors of a multifunctional building of the Mercury Center. There are 30 roofed platforms, a waiting room, an information office and a luggage room available for passengers. Advance booking of tickets and seat reservations can be found on the ground floor of the Merkury Center at the entrance on the corner of Žižkova and Dvořákova Street. Escalators and lifts from all floors of the business center, including underground garages, take you to the station area.

OK nothing wrong with the terminal except almost no signs. So key detail: it is on level 3 of the shopping center. Enter center walk to middle, find escalators, then follow signs to the top of the building. Regiojet busses are for a variety of locations including cesky krumlov and Prague.

Here I met the most horrible ticket seller ever. When I arrived there without buying a return ticket, the website of Regiojet was not working properly at that time. The woman refused to sell me a ticket and asked me to pay on the bus, but I knew that there were only few tickets left and I couldn't risk waiting until the evening. When I insisted on buying a ticket, she just shouted at me and shut the ticket window, and I was instantly with tears in my eyes. In the end, a nice lady from the Info window went with me to the ticket window and I finally got a ticket. That woman really shouldn't work there. She embarrassed the city where the people are actually very nice. Or she just hated my Chinese face?

Pretty basic bus station on top of the shopping center. Friendly staff manning the toilets (paid), and also you can leave your large bags there for a couple of bucks so you can go into the old town for a quick tour

The bus station in České Budějovice is conveniently placed on top of a shopping center (called Merkury). It is also a couple of minutes walk across the street to the train station. To get to departures/arrivals simply take the central escalator or lift to the rooftop (it's technically on the 2nd floor). The rooftop floor is dedicated to the bus station with the busses arriving and leaving at their stop outside. Clean toilets, waiting area inside, large board showing your bus time and stop number, where it will be parked. There is a ticket sales office on the ground floor (check opening times) The rest the shopping center has plenty of shopping, a food court.and a huge supermarket. All works well and makes the journey a lot more comfortable
