V zajímavém starém stavebním komplexu sídlí České Vinařské Závody. Společnost vznikla v roce 1953 a navazuje na tradici výroby vín v Čechách, na kterou poukazují Svatováclavské legendy a nejstarší české kroniky už v 10. století. Král Přemysl Otakar II. dovezl v roce 1269 sazenice vinné révy z Rakouska a založil vinice na Zbraslavi. Nejvýznamněji k rozvoji vinařství přispěl Karel IV. dovozem sazenic z Porýní, Rakouska a Burgundska a vydáním dekretů nařizujících výsadbu vinic. "České Vinařské Závody" are located in an interesting old building complex. The company was founded in 1953 and continues the tradition of wine production in Bohemia, which is pointed out by St. Wenceslas legends and the oldest Czech chronicles in the 10th century. King Přemysl Otakar II. imported vine seedlings from Austria in 1269 and established vineyards in Zbraslav. Charles IV contributed most significantly to the development of viticulture. by importing seedlings from the Rhineland, Austria and Burgundy and by issuing decrees ordering the planting of vineyards.
