Super cottage in a quiet location. For us very comfortable and very well equipped. We were very surprised by the cleanliness. There is nothing to reproach or criticize.

As every year, we enjoyed it to the maximum :) very cozy and completely furnished cottage near Hochficht, where you ski best in the whole Sumava!
F	Filip Král on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strávili jsme zde víkend s rodinou a byli jsme velmi spokojeni, chalupa komfortní a útulně zařízená, super lokalita pro výlety po Šumavě, doporučujeme a někdy se zase vrátíme :-) We spent a weekend here with the family and we were very satisfied, the cottage comfortable and cosily furnished, great location for trips in the Bohemian Forest, we recommend and sometimes we come back :-)
D	David Kůs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chalupa sama o sobe z venku pusobi az malickym dojmem, ale je vyborne dispozicne resena uvnitr. Velka mistnost s peci byla nase ustredni, cely tyden jsme do pece topili, spotreba dreva v zime cca 50 kg briket. Pec je s vymenikem, takze je mozne vytopit cely dum. Druha moznost vytapeni je pomoci elektro kotle. Kdyz budete topil elektrikou, v zime je to asi 3,5 tis navic. Chalupa je v obci Zelnava, kde je par domu a to velice klidna obec. Byli jsme trochu prekvapeni, ze objekt blizce sousedi s jinym objektem. Takze jeden vyhled z velkeho pokoje na Sumavu - ok, z druheho velkeho pokoje nad garazi koukate sousedovi do kurniku a do polorozpadleho baraku. Objetk take sousedi s mistnim JZD, ktere je pres cestu. Projelo tam par traktoru, nic dramatickeho. V lete je na pozemku vetsi vyziti, ohniste, gril, trampolina, houpacky a skluzavka. Moc prijemny pobyt to byl. The cottage itself looks from the outside and with a small impression, but it is perfectly laid out inside. A large room with the oven was our central one, we heated the oven all week, the wood consumption in winter was about 50 kg of briquettes. The furnace has an exchanger, so it is possible to heat the whole house. The second possibility of heating is with the help of an electric boiler. When you heat with electricity, in winter it is about 3.5 thousand more. The cottage is in the village Zelnava, where there are a couple of houses and a very quiet village. We were a little surprised that the object is close to another object. So one view from the large room to Sumava - ok, from the other large room above the garage you look to the neighbor to the chicken coop and to the dilapidated barracks. The building is also adjacent to the local collective farm, which is across the road. A couple of tractors drove by, nothing dramatic. In summer there is a large garden, fireplace, barbecue, trampoline, swings and slide. It was a very pleasant stay.
I	I Rottova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chalupa je na hezkém místě, je z ní krásný výhled, pokoje v patře jsou krásné - stejné, jako na fotkách. Pro děti je venku trampolína a menší dětské hřiště. Zklamáním byla místnost s kamny, která nevypadá jako na fotkách. Na sedačce přehozené tmavé deky, na stolech plastové ubrusy - hodně to dojem srazilo. Uklizeno bylo dobře, ale je vidět, že na údržbu chalupy není čas - prasklé žárovky, neodtékající umyvadlo, uštípané a popraskané nádobí, plesnivá myčka a v přízemí hodně chladno. Pokud chcete mít teplo, alespoň 21 stupňů, je potřeba se připravit na vysoký doplatek, který nás překvapil (ač je částka za spotřebu uvedena ve smlouvě). The cottage is in a nice place, it has a beautiful view, the rooms upstairs are beautiful - the same as in the photos. For children, there is an outdoor trampoline and a small playground. Disappointing was the room with the stove, which does not look like in the photos. Dark blankets draped on the sofa, plastic tablecloths on the tables - it impressed a lot. It was well cleaned, but you can see that there is no time to maintain the cottage - cracked light bulbs, non-draining sink, chipped and cracked dishes, moldy dishwasher and very cold on the ground floor. If you want to have heat, at least 21 degrees, you need to prepare for a high surcharge, which surprised us (although the amount for consumption is stated in the contract).

Jak pan majitel, tak paní, která chalupu předává, jsou vstřícní a ochotní. V okolí je nespočet možných výletů, prodloužený víkend určitě nestačí.. :) Beautiful, stylish accommodation! The furnace is great, functional, we really enjoyed it there. I definitely recommend. Both the owner and the lady who hands over the cottage are helpful and helpful. There are countless possible trips in the area, an extended weekend is definitely not enough .. :)

Except for 2 major things: - utilities need to be paid separately, I've never experienced this (not such a bad thing, but just very expensive and odd) - the area around is falling to pieces. Broken cottages, broken houses, rotting wood around. It's just ugly. I think there is a lot of potential here, but the area is slowing the business down a lot I recommend since it's beautiful inside and the price is very affordable. But I won't be returning since it's not as welcoming as other places in the Czech Republic
