V	Vladimir Pecha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barokní kaple blahoslaveného Podivena byla postavena 1738 zásluhou děkana staroboleslavské kapituly Jana Křtitele Frika, snad podle návrhu Kiliána Ignáce Dientzenhofera. Dříve zde stávala Boží muka. Podle pověsti stojí tato kaple na místě, kde zemřel blahoslavený Podiven. Podiven byl služebníkem sv. Václava, který byl později zabit stejnými vrahy jako sv. Václav. Vzhledem k jevům souvisejícím s jeho mrtvým tělem byl prohlášen za blahoslaveného a jeho ostatky přeneseny a uloženy na hřbitově u chrámu svatého Víta. V 18. století sloužila kaple jako prachárna, v roce 1878 byla obnovena a opět vysvěcena. V interiéru se nachází cenné fresky od Václava Vavřince Reinera. V 18. století byla kaple zrušena a zapůjčena vojenskému úřadu, který ji využíval jako prachárnu. V současnosti je majetkem staroboleslavské farnosti a bohoslužby se v ní nekonají. SOUČASNOST: Přilehlý park, který především slouží pro odpočinek lidem bez domova a problematické mládeži, kteří se zde shromažďují, popíjejí alkohol a obtěžují lidi procházející kolem. Díky tomu jsem se zde necítil příjemně, bezpečně. Před vchodem do kaple je vysazena pamětní lípa sv. Anežky Přemyslovny. Chapel of Blah. Strange was built in 1738. Vedle nádherně zrekonstruované baziliky Nanebevzetí Panny Marie působí omšelým dojmem. Snad se dočká nového kabátu i ona ....
