Charlie’s Mill Restaurant vznikl v roce 2018 remodelingem pizzerie Molino. Ve stylovém prostředí restaurace ochutnáte jak českou gastronomii v moderní pojetí, tak speciality z grilu, čerstvé těstoviny či domácí dezerty.
Milovníky piva potěšíme nabídkou několika druhů točeného piva:
Pilsner Urquell, Starobrno Bitr, Starobrno Bitr nefiltrovaný, Krušovice nealko, Zlatopramen Radler citron nebo Strongbow Cider Apple na ledu.
Pro fajnšmekry máme připravenou širokou nabídku Ginů, Rumů a Single Malt Whisky.
Od dubna do října je otevřena letní terasa s květinovou výzdobou.
DOPORUČENÍ BARMANA: “Osvěžující Aperol Spritz nebo pro zahřátí naše Slivovice Charlie’s 50%”.
DOPORUČENÍ ŠÉFKUCHAŘE: „Charlie’s ribs – žebra marinovaná v naši marinádě nebo Rumpsteak s fazolovými lusky a omáčkou ze zeleného pepře“.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waited 25 mins just to order during lunch menu time, 35 min to get soup and drinks we ordered came after 45 minutes with food, despite the fact the restaurant was 30% full. People usually have only 30min break to have lunch. Last time we were here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Czech food in a nice environment. The staff was nice and even though we were a difficult group to serve (12 of us, coming in different times), they handled it very well. The food was generally good, especially the meat in Czech food. Only the potato dumplings (bramborove knedliky) tasted like from a school canteen, they were too hard. Also the portions of Moravsky vrabec and schnitzel were too big - even though we asked for a normal portion of schnitzel, they said it is not possible. That results in wasted food or overeating, which is not cool anymore...
All in all it is a good restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting this place with my former colleagues, we have had a reservation at a separate room - the second one after the main room of the place. Because of that, the restaurant is suitable also for bigger groups.
My meal was great! I had svíčková and I liked that tender meat a lot. What I didn't like much was overloaded staff. Waitress got to our table from time to time, she looked at us, asked if we want something, and then turned around without waiting for our answer. I had a feeling like we need to use every change we have to order, otherwise we might not get anything for some time. Once I ordered a drink, but didn't manage to order additional tapped water, as she basically left me there after a second of hesitation in my voice. I needed to wait for the waitress to return to get all that I wanted. Another time I was almost shouting my order at the leaving waitress. Not a good approach towards customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The drinks have a good taste. Atmosphere inside is also fine. There is even extra bigger room, probably when there are more visitors coming. Although, waitresses look surprised on you when ordering only a drink??? The restaurant is also a good option to go for a lunch with an option of sitting outside when the weather is warmer?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was really nice and the atmosphere very cozy too. We ate outside and it was very spacious. Quite affordable too, nothing too expensive. However, the were three of us in the group, and two had finished their entire food before the third even got served. The server was apologetic and offered a coffee for free as an excuse, whereas I believe the plate should have been written off altogether, or perhaps a discount on the whole meal. Very unfortunate since the food was indeed very good. The restaurant wasn't at full capacity either, or even half. Unfortunate.
