★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's nice place, BUT this bar doesn't have any ventilation, so it smells badly. Except from these... We were me and my boyfriend and only me wanted to drink a glass of wine and leave quickly, in order to catch the bus. Unfortunately the lady in the bar didn't want to serve just one glass of wine... That's why i rate this bar with 2 stars only...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice place, and I like going there for the people. The down side is the barman is extremely rude, and does not give a f×××. As my friend does not speak Czech, he held out his hand for the barman to take money. The grumpy rude barman took it all. If you are a foreigner, the bar man will rob you blind.
I have been coming here off and on for four years, no nice barmaid or bar person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best bar in Prague. Very friendly and accommodating, even to a group of 20 English lads on a Stag. We stayed at the Cosmopole Hostel around the corner visited Charlies Bar every day. Good laughs and very good drinks. Very well priced too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best bar in prague! The sweetest woman works here and it was hard to tell if there were a lot of regulars, or if she was just really friendly. I think it was a mixture of both. Really great music and atmosphere. Loved this place!

Just went to the bar and the guy (in his 50's) was straight away rude towards us,
We asked for coffee and he said only espresso, and we asked can you please add hot water to our espresso. Then he started being more rude, he replied in angry way NO
We ordered beer and a espresso, he said 100 kc and we asked for a receipt but he was in flames and gave us a receipt of alcohol 100
And we asked where is coffee in it. He went worse and started printing 2,3 receipt and threw in our table.
Avoid this place if you can it's the worse hospitality and behaviour of a person in a touristic place like this I have never seen as I work in same business.
Be careful with the guy in the photos,
He Will sabotage you if you speak English

The prices are very logical,
A genuine Czech pub without the fuss just to go and relax with your friends for a beer or a wine or maybe a coffee...
