Zámek obklopuje anglický park. The Čimelice chateau was built in 1730. After a fire in 1767, the chateau was rebuilt and turrets were added to the side wings. The castle is surrounded by an English park.
S	Sona Stoiljkovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ První písemná zmínka o čimelické tvrzi pochází z roku 1483, prvními známými vlastníky jsou bratři Petr a Aleš Deymové ze Stříteže, kteří tvrz získali v roce 1543. Po vymření jejich rodu se majitelé panství rychle střídali, až v roce 1685 koupil zadlužené panství Jan Jindřich z Bissingenu. Jeho syn, hrabě Karel Bissingen, dal blízko tvrze, která byla poté přestavěna na sýpku, vystavět trojkřídlý barokní zámek. Stavba byla provedena podle návrhů stavitele A. Canevalleho v letech 1728 - 1730. Od roku 1782 se zámek dědictvím dostává mezi různé vlastníky, roku 1817 zde proběhly změny interiérů v rokokovém duchu podle plánů pražského architekta J. F. Jöndla. Roku 1850 získal Čimelice Karel Schwarzenberg, jehož rod držel panství do roku 1948. V zámku po roce 1952 působila střední filmová škola. Dnes je opět soukromým majetkem Schwarzenbergů a je spolu s anglickým parkem přístpný veřejnosti. The first written mention of the Čimelice fortress dates from 1483, the first known owners are brothers Petr and Aleš Deymová of Střítež, who acquired the fortress in 1543. After the extinction of their family, the owners of the manor changed quickly, until in 1685 Jan Jindřich of Bissingen. His son, Count Karel Bissingen, had a three-winged Baroque castle built near the fortress, which was then rebuilt into a granary. The construction was carried out according to the designs of the builder A. Canevalle in the years 1728 - 1730. Since 1782 the chateau has been inherited by various owners, in 1817 the interiors were changed in the Rococo style according to the plans of the Prague architect J. F. Jöndl. In 1850, Čimelice was acquired by Karel Schwarzenberg, whose family held the manor until 1948. After 1952, there was a secondary film school in the chateau. Today it is again the private property of the Schwarzenbergs and, together with the English park, is open to the public.
R	Renata Racina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásný zámek, bohužel uvnitř /nahlíženo okny/ odporný obklady, zdevastováno, vybrakováno, nejspíš asi bývalá kuchyň, co jsem viděla. Asi pozůstatek po filmové škole, jak píšou dějiny...Co by se muselo vše dokoupit, sehnat, udělat....Za zámkem rovně je cesta alejí k zámku Rakovice. /cca 10 min.ve stínu/.To už je úplná statková zbořenina, ale taky krásná. Beautiful castle, unfortunately inside / viewed through windows / disgusting tiles, devastated, knocked out, probably the former kitchen I saw. Probably a remnant of film school, as history writes ... What would have to buy, get, do .... Behind the castle, there is a straight path along the alley to Rakovice Castle. / approx. 10 min. in the shade /. This is a complete farm ruin, but also beautiful.

Já ješt3 pamatuji dobu, kdy v areálu fungovala filmová škola a udržoval se vzhled staveb v provozu. Handsome building set in a park with beautiful scenery.
