"Zatím jsme tam byli ubytovaní dvakrát, až na nějaké zmatky na recepci při příjezdu ohledně rezervace, které ale vyřešili okamžitě, jsme byli spokojení. Přijatelná cena, čisto a docela klid. Asi však záleží na tom, kdo má zrovna vedle vás pokoj. My jsme měli štěstí na normální slušné lidi, co vědí, že v hotelu je vše slyšet. Chystáme se tam opět. "

Avoid if you're after good night's sleep To me, this hotel has many serious drawbacks: - The soundproofing is hilariously bad: the walls, the door, and the windows readily pass through sound - The hotel blasts two high-powered LED lights on the facade which results in the room being super bright at night (despite the blackout curtains) - Family rooms are located right next to elevator, allowing you (indirectly) to take part in the social life of all other guests on the floor - The room equipment is in various states of disrepair - For a "family" room there are essentials missing (no kettle, no cutlery, no plates, 1 set of glasses) - In our room (311) the AC unit worked slightly in one room and didn't at all in the other - The bed mattresses are generally horrible (but that's in majority of hotels) - The cleaning happens sporadically - Complaints / requests for repair made to staff will be swiftly ignored - Physical security of the door is questionable - Even though they give you invoice in EUR, they will still charge your card in CZK (no, can't be changed, I checked) - They demand 100% of the price upfront (given all the points above, I'm not surprised... otherwise we'd have bolted after first night) On the upside: - The breakfasts are good - The initial room cleanliness was good Overall, this is in no way a 4-star hotel. Two stars at best? The only really positive thing I have to say about the hotel is the breakfast; everything else is between "meh" and horrible. ---- To add more color to my review: Soundproofing: We could hear the guests in adjacent rooms (which is kinda bad when they return from a Friday night out... at 2:30 am... and proceed to party for the next several hours). The door is (in terms of sound dampening) basically not there -- if there's someone walking in the hallway, you will hear it. Ditto for elevators opening. The windows are also leaky: ambulance sounds, people partying next door (there's a disco/concert hall next door), random folks shouting outside? All clearly audible through closed windows. Insulation: BAD. The light level: This is one of the things where the hotel prioritizes itself (visibility) over the guests. They blast two powerful LED floodlights at the facade. And since the blackout curtains are far from perfect, the light leaks through and the whole room lights up like 6am at summer morning. When I asked whether they could do something about it, I got negative response. Silly me. The room: There's no kettle. No plates, no cutlery. If there were no minibar, I'd bet you a doughnut there would be no drinking glasses either. Further, our room (for four) had 3 chairs. The mattresses have seen a better days and (to me) are supremely uncomfortable. But I have encountered that issue in many hotels, so I'm not that surprised. The pillow was so bad that I went to Jysk and bought myself a memory foam pillow... to survive the 9 nights there. The AC unit: In one room it only loudly hummed and emitted some sort of bbq odor. No cold air. In the other room it worked somewhat (but was also super loud). When complained about this... well... the staff wrote it down, and nothing changed. The cleaning: Initially the rooms were nicely clean. Later, I don't think anyone cared much. We stayed 9 nights and by the end of it, there was visible build up of dust in the bathroom and on other surfaces. Also, the hotel has a policy of "if you want your towels changed, drop them on the floor". Cool. We wanted ONE of the towels changed. Dropped it on the floor... and received full clean set. Happened more than once. Super weird... but ok. Physical security: There's a big gap under the door, lending itself to "under door" attack (opening the door from the other side with a simple tool). Be forewarned... and mitigate if you know how. Invoicing / payment: So I was given an invoice in EUR, and then forced to pay in CZK. Because apparently that's how they roll. In any case, you will be billed 100% of the stay upon check-in. That alone should have been a major red flag. Sigh.

The hotel is located not very far from the city center. But there are not a lot of advantages. We arrived at 12:00 and were ready to wait until the agreed time of check in (14:00). But we only got our keys at 15:00. Moreover, it was a key for a room with 2 separate beds even though we booked a one with a big bed. Fortunately,  they agreed to change the room. There is no free water in it, so you can only buy it for 1.8€. Also, no kettle. Bathroom is the biggest disappointment as there is no even one socket. By the way, there are no sockets near bed as well, so you can charge your phones only if unplug TV. Talking about bathroom, there is no any bath screen so when you have a shower there is water everywhere. You also can forget about bathrobes and slippers. I can agree with the below comments, that breakfasts are ok. There is enough choice. The hotel website says there is bowling and billiard downstairs,  but you can forget about it as well. As the receptionist said it was closed for reconstruction but for some reason they didn't mention it on the website. 2 stars for location and breakfast.

I stayed one night at the hotel, 05/04 to 05/05/2022, room 902. The problem was that I found a giant spider there. The next morning at checkout, I reported the issue to the staff and they simply minimized the issue. I commented that I would report this on booking.com and they just canceled my reservation saying I didn't check in. But here's the photo.

Good hotel un Brno! spacious room, comfy bed, nice staff - friendly and helpful. cheap parking within the hotel or option to park outside. Great breakfast buffet.

DO NOT COME here for Friday to Saturday, unless you want to be up all night from the round the corner partying. Aggressive and noisy party boys and girls will keep you up. Police didn't care, hotel security were used to this and were not bothered. At the end, it ruined our otherwise pleasant hotel experience and we'll never come back again. Definitely not for the weekend.

Stayed many times. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet. Great view. Only downside is smell in the bathroom. Probably old plumbings. Apart from that, perfect.

The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but you will find everything you need apart from the coffee/tea option in your room which I think should be a standard for a 4-star hotel. Other than this, I had small incidents with no towels in the room and also rude staff in the reception. I stayed in this hotel during my business trips and after the last one, I will be looking for another place.

Last night my wife and I checked in to thus hotel. We were planning to stay here for the weekend and have some rest, explore Brno. Unfortunately as it turned out, in the same building right next to the hotel there was a bar and people were partying in front of it all night. The music was loud, they were yelling, screaming, partying. Despite the window kept closed all night long, it helped none given the noise level and the poor sound isolation of the window and walls. I complained at the reception but they informed me that this is not a new problem for them. If so, then I consider promoting those rooms a scam as it is because they have to know people will either leave or stay suffering. Around midnight I asked the guy at the reception to call the police, they 'allegedly' called and they again 'allegedly' came, because it made no difference at all. The partying went on till 4:00 4:30 am. So we checked out and left dead tired the next morning. I was not able to request a refund given the cancellation policy did not allow me to. However, i booked this place in good faith not knowing this would happen. Despite the cancellation policy I consider this situation beyond unfair so I am also letting everyone to know before they consider staying here.
