Cottage by the Lake - Dlouhý Důl 19

Thank you for a beautiful and very relaxing stay in this successfully renovated, I would almost say modern, cottage. The cottage is not completely secluded, but you practically do not know about the neighbors throughout your stay and you enjoy peaceful privacy. The location invites to many different hiking / cycling trips in the area, so everyone can come up with their own. If I had to summarize it in +/- points, then: + clean, tidy, including dishes, so you don't have to choose the glass / mug you use + beautiful living room with stove and large table + ready grill and basic garden furniture + prepared wood for the stove (250 CZK / large bag - we did not use any one for the weekend) + comfortable sleeping on the upper floor + dishwasher saving a lot of time that can be spent on relaxation and other activities + WiFi (at least for basic work duties) + can be accommodated with dogs - we missed a bit of a covered outdoor terrace for cases where it rains, but you would still rather sit outside than inside - hot water is not bottomless (for 4 people just for more, I can not imagine, but according to the owner, the boiler can be set to reheat immediately and not twice a day) - a smaller fridge, but there is a room where it was really very cold all the time, so we stored the rest of the things there and there was no problem with that - the land is not fenced, so any "runaway" dogs must be supervised From my point of view, the maximum capacity of 10 people is rather theoretical, even though the number of beds really makes it clear. To make it really comfortable, I would subjectively stay here with a maximum of 6 people, even to the above volume of hot water and only one bathroom with a bathtub (in the second bathroom there is only a toilet). I definitely recommend the stay and we will definitely be back!

In a word - wonderful! The cottage is beautifully made, the stove with the oven is simply TOP! The building itself lies at the end of the village so that in complete calm and without a signal from the mobile operator, a bomb. Evenings without TV will make you go back to your childhood and play board games - great! We didn't find the only thing we wanted to complain about. The best in the end are absolutely wonderful operators! We haven't met a couple who would have caught our eye like this for a long time, we laughed with them about telling stories even though we are completely strangers :-) We will definitely come back to you!

Great accommodation in a beautiful, stylish cottage, very friendly owners. Great location for various trips to the surroundings. We had a great holiday here, thank you.

So we had the advantage that a meter of snow fell on us :-D Then everything else is pink. Or white :-D Driven 'slope' (understand the road with no traffic) right in front of the house, where even the smallest can sled without supervision, beautiful views of the region and ideal walking circuits in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. In the end, after a very skilful maneuver, we slid down the slope with the car, until the owner had to pull us out of the snowdrift on a rope. In summer it will certainly be an equally wonderful place.

The cottage is absolutely amazing, the owners really won during its reconstruction. If you are looking for a place to relax then we highly recommend it. We were especially captivated by the furnace, which has a very pleasant rest area to relax. The location is very quiet and at the same time interesting for tourists. The cottage has very nice owners, who advised us where to go on a trip, where to eat, in which shop to make yourself happy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

It's a super nice house! Really recommended! Great location! Great hiking trails. Very quiet. In winter it is very cold in the dormitories and heating is quite expensive. For two days we paid about €50 extra for wood and heating. Although we have hardly or not at all heated. That was a bit of a shame. In addition, investing in new heaters recommended. The room could hardly be heated. We didn't expect the amount of extra costs, otherwise everything was great. Thank you ? I can only recommend it and I would definitely come back. Tip: In winter definitely take hot-water bottles with you and if you want to save: own wood.
