This place has, at least for me, an incredible atmosphere. For a long time I haven't enjoyed a coffee dessert just like here. It's a candy store that doesn't play anything at all. On the counter rests a "retro" cash register and in the corner you can see an amazing machine for a draft ice cream, also from times past. Several carefully laid desserts rest in the glass case. I order one and ask for coffee. Mrs. points out that they have only Turk and although I go around various roasters and "top" cafes, I get the taste of the ordinary Czech Turk and nod with pleasure. I can't even imagine drinking some spoiled espresso in this environment, which I still can't prepare in some more would-be exclusive businesses. Amazingly nice and pleasant lady brings me coffee to the table. Everything in the candy store is really clean and pleasant. I feel like my grandma used to. Afternoon music plays from the radio, I hear the revolving pages of a newspaper being viewed by the amazing person behind the counter. The dessert was very good, and the coffee was perfect. I get up, pay a few crowns, and talk to the lady who is in charge of the café for a while and see that she likes it and does her job with love. If you want to relax from the crazy world, brake, and come back a bit to the time when you need to visit similar patisseries, for example with my grandmother, so I can only recommend this place.
