★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super akce DPP Praha. Navštívili jsme snad všechna zákoutí depa a zakončili projížďkou historickou soupravou metra po trase A. Paráda. Doporučuji. (Projekt se jmenoval PRAHA TECHNICKÁ)
Super event DPP Prague. We visited all the corners of the depot and ended with a ride through the historic metro line A. Paráda. I recommend. (The project was PRAGUE TECHNICAL)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Konec na metra, taková osamělá, vlaky sem nejezdí všechny a mimo spicky v děsně dlouhých intervalech.
Stanice ma větší potenciál, je zde P+R parkoviště, předprodej, dostatecne prostory zastávek, wc, trafika, pekárna se sezenim, tramvajové stanice poblíž a pritom je to z centra několik minut...
The end of the subway, so lonely, not all trains run here and out of spikes at terribly long intervals.
The station has more potential, there is a P + R parking lot, pre-sale, enough stop space, toilet, newsagent, bakery with seating, tram station nearby and yet it is a few minutes from the center ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hostivařská stanice metra je netypická, nachází se přímo v areálu depa metra, zabírá jeho dvě západní koleje. Mezi nimi bylo vybudováno ostrovní nástupiště, které je v celé síti metra vůbec nejužší a vzniklo v prostoru bývalé myčky vozů. Výstup je veden jedním malým vestibulem severním směrem k terminálu příměstských autobusových linek. Stanice Depo Hostivař byla zamýšlena jako přestupní mezi metrem a autobusovou dopravou. Výstavba stanice byla zahájena v červenci roku 2004, probíhala za provozu depa. Pro veřejnost byla zprovozněna v květnu 2006.
Hostivař metro station is atypical, located directly in the area of the metro depot, occupies its two western tracks. Between them, an island platform was built, which is the narrowest in the entire Prague metro network and was built in the former carriage wash area. The exit leads through one small vestibule north towards the terminal of suburban bus lines. Hostivař station was intended as a transfer between metro and bus. The construction of the station was started in July 2004, while the depot was in operation. It was opened to the public in May 2006.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skvělé místo, na exkurzi. Každého čtvrt roku dává DPP do prodeje vstupenky na exkurzi depa a zážitkovou jízdu historickou soupravou 81-71. Zážitek to byl luxusní, prošli jsme si celé depo, i depo pro tažné lokomotivy a čistící stroj, slepý tunel atd. Během zážitkové jízdy byla možnost podívat se do kabiny strojvedoucích, takže byl neskutečný zážitek vidět to, co vidí řidič metra. Celou dobu exkurze s náma byli odborníci z Metra, kteří odpovídali na všechny naše otázky. Moc jsme si to užili a chci moc poděkovat Dopravnímu Podniku Praha, že něco takového pro lidi děláte. Děkujeme a velice doporučujeme!
Great place for an excursion. Every quarter of the year, DPP sells tickets for a depot excursion and an adventure ride through the historic 81-71 train set. The experience was luxurious, we went through the whole depot, as well as the depot for towing locomotives and cleaning machine, blind tunnel, etc. During the adventure ride, it was possible to look into the driver's cab, so it was an incredible experience to see what the subway driver sees. Throughout the excursion with us, there were experts from the Metro who answered all our questions. We really enjoyed it and I want to thank the Prague Transport Company for doing something like that for people. Thank you and highly recommended!
