 The fortress of Dešenice is a beautiful place in Dešenice. It is refurbished so it is modernly adapted and there are many events. It also includes the Museum of Brewing and the Township Office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Úřad Městyse Dešenice sídlí v gotické tvrzi, která pochází ze 14. století. V 18. století došlo k jejímu přestavění na zámeček, který byl přestavěn na pivovar. V objektu se také nachází muzeum šumavského pivovarnictví.
Townhouse Dešenice is housed in a Gothic fortress dating back to the 14th century. In the 18th century, it was rebuilt into a mansion, which was rebuilt into a brewery. There is also a museum of Šumava brewery.
