Železniční trať Bakov nad Jizerou – Kopidlno (v jízdním řádu pro cestující je úsek s osobní dopravou označen číslem 063) je jednokolejná regionální dráha. Do nádraží Bousov vedou hned čtyři železniční tratě. Z Mladé Boleslavi z Libuně, z Bakova nad Jizerou a z Kopidlna. V běžném provozu tu ale nemáte kam přestoupit, protože pravidelný provoz tu České dráhy vedou jen po prvních dvou tratích. Zatímco ve všedních dnech je Bousov obyčejné nádraží na obyčejné železniční trati, o letních víkendech se proměňuje v turistickou železniční křižovatku. Koncesi na výstavbu tratě z Kopidlna do Bakova získala společnost České obchodní dráhy a první úsek z Kopidlna do Libáně-Psinice byl slavnostně zprovozněn 1. července 1882. Navazující úsek a tím i celá trať až do Bakova byl uveden do provozu o rok později a to 25. srpna 1883. Trať však již od počátku byla přizpůsobena spíše nákladní dopravě. There are four railway lines leading to the Bousov station. From Mladá Boleslav from Libuň, from Bakov nad Jizerou and from Kopidlno. However, you do not have a place to change the line in normal traffic here, because Czech Railways operates regularly only on the first two lines. While on weekdays Bousov is an ordinary railway station, it turns into a tourist railway junction on summer weekends. The Czech Trade Railways acquired the concession for the construction of the line from Kopidno to Bakov and the first section from Kopidlno to Libáň-Psinice was put into operation on 1 July 1882. The follow-up section and thus the entire track to Bakov was put into operation one year later on 25 August 1883. However, the track was adapted to freight transport from the very beginning.
