★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dolní Chabry zahrnují celé původní Chabry, které byly od poloviny 16. století tvořeny dvěma osadami. Dolní Chabry měly centrum v okolí Bíleneckého náměstí a ulice Na Dolíku, Horní Chabry u dnešního Hrušovanského náměstí. První dochovaný záznam je z listiny z roku 1092. Název vsi zněl původně zřejmě Chrabři a byl odvozen z chrabrosti (udatnosti) obyvatel.
Na území Chaber byly nalezeny zbytky pravěkého osídlení. Zajímavé jsou nálezy kultur s vypichovanou keramikou, kultury se zvoncovitými i nálevkovitými poháry, či stopy kultury řivnáčské a únětické. V některých lokalitách byly nalezeny zbytky po keltské kultuře z mladší doby železné. Na dalších místech byly nalezeny germánské hroby a zbytky osad a pozůstatky germány donesených předmětů římské výroby. Z pozdější doby byla nalezena kruhová keramika a doklady výroby nití. Slovanské kultury, které se zde zřejmě objevily po polovině 6. století, jsou doloženy jen ojedinělými nálezy vztahujícími se k období let 950 – 1150. U kostela Stětí sv. Jana Křtitele byly nalezeny raně středověké hroby z 11. století.
 Dolní Chabry includes the entire original Chabry, which have been formed by two settlements since the middle of the 16th century. Dolní Chabry had a center around Bílenecké Square and Na Dolíku Street, Horní Chabry near today's Hrušovanské Square. The first surviving record is from a document from 1092. The name of the village was originally probably Chrabři and was derived from the bravery (bravery) of the inhabitants.
Remains of a prehistoric settlement were found in the territory of Chaber. The finds of cultures with pinned ceramics, cultures with bell-shaped and funnel-shaped cups, or traces of the Řivnáč and Únětice cultures are interesting. Remains of Celtic culture from the Late Iron Age were found in some localities. Germanic graves and remains of settlements and remains of Roman-made objects brought by the Germans were found in other places. From later times, circular ceramics and documents of yarn production were found. Slavic cultures, which probably appeared here after the middle of the 6th century, are documented only by unique finds relating to the period 950 - 1150. At the church Stětí sv. Early medieval graves from the 11th century were found by John the Baptist.
