We lived hear with 2 for 4,5 months and we had a good time here. It is close enough to the center and supermarket. You have to pay for the extras, ask the prices before. Sometimes there is some noise from the industrial area, but we accepted it. The rooms are smart with the space and we liked to cook in our room. The dishwasher was a very nice to have. We would choose it again for a few months stay, but the prices should be a bit lower in my opinion.

I had pretty much great time staying in Domeq. No unknown charges, helpful staff even on the matters that don't regard the Domeq itself. Reception is always active to help in case of need. 24/7 availability of services such as laundry. Comfortable apartments, w/o any extra unnecessary stuff in them. Located conveniently in Brno-South near the shopping centre Vankovka and the city centre itself (such as Cathedral, Train Station etc.). English-speaking staff for those who're travelling internationally. Great stop for those who don't know where to go first time arriving to Brno like myself. Was very fortunate to find this complex and spend my time here.

It is close to my working place, couple restaurants, liquor store, min-store, and a shopping mall. Quite convenient place to live.

co-living / co-working space at its best. i have been living here for the past few weeks and i can honestly say that it is one of the best places that i have ever lived in. the building is very new and only opened at the end of 2017. all the apartments are fully furnished and included all utilities even wifi. the common areas have internet connected tv's, cinema screen and a pool table. this is a great place to meet and socialise with other tenants. one of the best features of domeq is that the contract is only on a month to month basis so if your staying for less than one year in brno this is the perfect place.

UPDATE February 2020 In short, avoid this place. Now the longer explanation. It's been a few months now since the 'quality' of life at this once nice place to stay has started declining only to reach the point where a long-term tenant is left with no other choice but to strongly advise anyone looking for an accommodation in Brno area to never consider Domeq as an option. Not even as a temporary one. There are so many issues that don't get a proper response while the new ones keep arising. Imagine coming back from work to a cold room in February because the heating is not working, then finding out there is suddenly no hot water as well. Or try to do your laundry after waiting for a few hours only to get your turn in a room with more "out of order" stickers than the functioning devices. Despite the fact there are NO SMOKING signs everywhere, no one seems to care about it. If a neighbor next door decides to have a cigarette (or whatever it is that thing they use), the rest of the building will get their share. Slamming the doors, running through the hallways, screaming (often combined), are a kind of the noise that's become a routine after 2 or 3 AM. And this is just to name a few. The very idea of Domeq was exceptional and it had a potential to show how the housing issues of today, primarily those affecting students and workers, could be dealt with. What's left from a great idea behind this 12-story building with a fresh, modern-looking interior, are overpriced units and dissatisfied tenants who only wait for the first good opportunity to move out. The time when everything was running smoothly is gone. As if those who were supposed to deal properly with nothing but the usual, foreseeable issues that affect any residential place of this type, had stopped caring and feeling responsibility at some point and had been failing since to keep things under control. So, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Brno, whether it’s business, pleasure, work or study, short-term or long-term, let me remind you once again that Domeq is not what you're after. At least not at the time being...

I have been living in Domeq for more that a year. Accomodation itself is very convenient. If you are busy person, services as fullcleaning are possible every week. There is also a big common place where you can meet a lot of other people from different countries. Employees of Domeq are all very friendly and helpful.

Great accomodation, new, professional management - there is a reception and security service during night, property manager Jan Pernicka was very nice and communicative and all the time willing to help. I can recommend this for youn people who want to live in modern apartment but also have similar people around - the lobby was great, perfect place to meet new friends. Last months it was a bit dusty around as the second building was under the construction but right now it is finished and everything is clear around without extra noise :)

PROS: - Since the building is in an industrial and office area, it is quite far from the road and it's very silent during night. - Relatively cheap. Despite what people say, i don't find the accomodation expensive at all. It's true, It's just 24 square meters, but the spaces are really well distributed and there are really smart drawers which make to save space. It has got the dishwasher and a nice shower with a good flow and shower head. When i moved in, my biggest worry was to find myself in a claustrophobic space, but it didn't happen thanks to a completely glassed wall which lets a lot of light to come in. I pay 13100 czech crowns per month, second floor, but all expenses are included (apart from the washing machine and the drier, which cost respectively 60 and 50 crowns per usage). I have never paid anything else except for that amount. There is also a free bicycle parking inside and free cleaning facility for the glassed wall. - There is a speaking english reception 24 hours per 7 days, they solve any kind of problem you may have, and receptionists are amazing. The second week of my stay I had a leakage in the toilet, i just called the reception and 2 days after the plumber came and fixed it, and i didn't pay for anything. Or again, another time my keys fell down in the slot between the elevator and the flooring, and the receptionists changed my door lock and gave me another key, while they were looking for a way to take the previous key back. And again, for free. CONS: - The biggest problem is not related to the facilities that Domeq offers but rather to people who lives there. Silence rules are not really respected during night, especially during Friday and Saturday and sometimes people just smoke down and the smoke enters into the apartment. - Sometimes the gardening machines can be quite noisy (blowers and so on). I would replace them, if possible.
