Na křižovatce před Basilikou Panny Marie Sedmibolestné stával kovový kříž se sochou ukřižovaného Ježíše Krista na zděném podstavci, který symbolizoval historický odkaz na vznik poutní tradice. V roce 1956/3 byl však zbourán. V roce 1997 byl na jeho místě postaven nový dřevěný kříž. Ten navazuje na symboliku vzniku poutní tradice datované do 15. století k bitvě Na Běhání u Ústí nad Labem, odkud prchalo poražené křižácké vojsko.
