I passed my exam (on the first try) thanks to the wonderful instruction of Lukas. I never thought I would feel confident driving a manual, however, thanks to his patience and clear instructions, I feel completely comfortable to drive in the busy city and on the highway. The driving school did such a wonderful job not only in preparing me for the exam but for being a confident and capable driver. I have heard so many horror stories of non-Czech speakers being screamed at by the instructors which is why it took me such a long time to sign up for a course. I wish I had found out about this driving school years ago! I never once felt belittled or disrespected by my instructor. Of course. I made many mistakes along the way but I was also treated fairly and never intimidated to ask questions or to make mistakes. I have nothing bad to say about my experience and recommend this school to everyone - especially expats!

I recently got my B license on first try thanks to this auto school. Great service, all my lessons were very done and I learned a lot. Lukaš was very patient and a great teacher. I was looking forward to each lesson and now I really feel confident to take the road, even in the middle of the busy city center, thanks to him. The exam process was very well organized. The owner of the school planned everything and I didn't need to know any Czech to go through it. The translator for the theory part was just the nicest lady. The inspector during the driving part even gave me instruction in English and was very patient. Although I have to mention that the last lesson before the exam with the owner of the school was one of the worst experience of my life. He was screaming at me for nearly the whole session, in Czech, which I don't understand, and was just making me feel horrible for the smallest mistakes, giving me 5 instructions per second, and even taking over the pedals to accelerate a few times. The weird thing is that he was really nice during the actual exam so my guess is that he wants to make you feel horrible before, so that the exam doesn't seem so bad, I have to say, this is probably the worst idea, I've never felt so bad in my life. Would really reserve 5 stars if it was not for that last lesson.

Excellent school and experience! While I was quite worried about learning, my instructor, Milan, was incredibly patient, friendly, and adapted his teaching style to me. I enjoyed the lessons and looked forward to attending every time. They helped through the entire process, including the administrative side, and there was no problem with English, Milan spoke fluently. I am especially grateful for this experience because I know how horrible most driving schools are - this was a very pleasant surprise. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to everybody, let them be Czech or a foreigner!

Got my A category there. Fully satisfied with the reliable service, quality of the lectures and practical classes. Every lesson I was learning lots of new stuff, it definitely was not boring :) rather opposite. Only imagine, yesterday you first sit on a motorcycle, today you ride it on a road, next week you make slalom and 8-sign on the training ground. Also very appreciate the attitude - considering that I am not very good in Czech language. The trainer really strive to teach, thanks mr. Aleš! This is the school I can sincerely recommend.

The experience in general cause me a lot of frustration and stress, mainly because the communication was not good, expectations were not set from the beginning. I was taking 2 lessons per week and 1 month before the exam, I had 6 lessons left and I expressed that 1 week before the exam I wouldn’t have time for lessons due to my work. They pushed me to take all remaining 6 lessons 2 weeks before the exam totally ignoring the fact that I didn’t have time and then tried to blame on me that I couldn’t attend the lessons because I had covid for 1 week. They found the solution for me of taking lessons on the weekend and the teacher arrived angry, yelling that he was working on Saturday like an idiot. Additionally, I paid for the course in English but they don’t have the book in English, they only provide the 600 (book and mobile app) questions expecting that you will “memorise them like monkey”? In the end, I have heard so many terrible stories from other schools that mine seems less traumatic. I believe if at least the expectations were set from the beginning about what the course covers and the schedule, it would have been much better.

Absolutely marvelous driving school! One of not many in Prague offering the course in foreign languages (English, Russian and I believe German). I attended it with English teaching, which was great. My instructor Milan is fluent in English. He is great in explaining various details of driving situations, intersection crossing, etc., often drawing schematics on a paper and illustrating his explanations, which is very helpful. In the beginning I was a bit worried, since I was not familiar with the manual transmission. It was not easy for the first few lessons, but Milan was very kind and patient with me, calming me down when I was nervous. He quickly pinpointed my initial mistakes and after correcting them I quickly started to improve. Milan also explained me the magic of correct parking, which not many people are aware of. These were simple but amazingly effective instructions for both parallel and backward parking techniques. Following Milan’s instructions, I was able to do a parallel parking basically from the first attempt! The last test lesson before the exam I was driving with the Director of the School, Ludek. He was also very helpful and kind to me all the time. He gave me a few important tips further improving my skills, and he speaks fluent Russian! The exams (both the theoretical and the driving one) were very well organized, Ludek took care of all the administration and paperwork required. I would also like to mention Pavlina, an extremely nice lady in the school office taking care of the administration and paperwork, and another driving instructor whom I met in the school, Tomas (he didn’t teach me but we had a few nice and very friendly conversations; also Tomas was teaching my colleague, who was very pleased with him). Overall I would emphasize very high professional level of all the people in the school and their personal and very humane approach to each and every student, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere during the studies. Thanks to their high professionalism I passed the exam from the first try and I learned how to feel calm and confident on the busy roads in Prague. I would highly recommend Autoskola Dejvice to everyone and especially to foreigners.

The driving School Dejvice is the best place for English speakers! They were very attentive and assisted me during my enrolment process and all my driving classes. With flexible hours, excellent and very qualified teachers, I learned a lot. My teacher Milan a pearl of solid wisdom, patience, and dedication, helped me immensely. For that, I certainly recommend The driving School Dejvice and Milan. Thank you all!
