★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkná zřícenina na zalesněném kopci. Odbočka na hrad není dostatečně označena tak ji lze snadno přehlédnout. Výstup je poměrně prudký.
 A nice ruin on a wooded hill. The turning to the castle is not sufficiently marked so it can be easily overlooked. The output is quite steep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mě se to tu líbilo, bylo tu krásné barevné listí a také jsme se mohli podívat na plošinu na které byl postaven hrad, hradiště a nádvoří. Určitě se přijďte přesvědčit na vlastní oči o kráse lesa a o hradu Stará Dubá... ;-)
I liked it here, there were beautiful colorful leaves and we could also look at the platform on which the castle, fortified settlement and courtyard were built. Be sure to come and see for yourself about the beauty of the forest and the Stará Dubá castle ... ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nadherně zřícená zřícenina stranou od hlavních cest, ale s vlastním pramínkem vody.
Sice naplnění desetilitrového kanystry trvá hodinu, ale ten klid - rušený občasným projetím vlaku - stojí za to.
V bývalém hradním příkopu asi jeden z posledních vandráckých srubopřístřešků s integrovaným krbem a palandou.
Hodnotím velmi kladně
A beautifully ruined ruin away from the main roads, but with its own trickle of water.
Although it takes an hour to fill a ten-liter canister, the peace - disturbed by the occasional train - is worth it.
In the former castle moat, probably one of the last wanderer's log sheds with an integrated fireplace and bunk bed.
I rate it very positively

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magické místo, ač na břehu Sázavy, takřka nedostupné. Nečekaně rozsáhlé, spolu s podhradím Odranec. Celé okolí svázané s rannými državami Přemyslovců, v počátcích českého státu.
A magical place, although on the banks of the Sázava, almost inaccessible. Unexpectedly large, together with the Odranec castle. The whole area is connected with the early Přemyslid states, in the beginnings of the Czech state.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moc hezká zřícenina, uprostřed lesa s dochovanou fortifikací okolního terénu. Zvlášť na podzim je tu opravdu moc hezky.
Very nice ruins, in the middle of the forest with preserved fortification of the surrounding terrain. Especially in the fall, it's really nice here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavá zřicenina a krásný cíl menší procházky podél řeky Sázavy. A není to jen obyčejná zřícenina, ale hned celá vesnice v podhradí, která byla též opevněná. Sice z vesnice se už nic nedochovalo, vše je pod vrstvou naplavenin ze Sázavy naplavených za léta po zboření, přesto je zde dost obvodových zdí opevnění včetně částí věže i z bránou do vesnice.
Interesting ruin and beautiful destination of a smaller walk along the river Sazava. And it is not just an ordinary ruin, but the whole village below the castle, which was also fortified. Although nothing has survived from the village, everything is under a layer of alluvium from Sázava flooded in years after the demolition, but there are enough peripheral walls of the fortifications, including parts of the tower and the gateway to the village.
