The Neo-Baroque school was built in 1905. The original plans have survived only to the defunct garden. They were signed by architect Josef Domek and builder Háša, both from Vinohrady. These are probably the authors of the whole complex. In 1929, the west wing was modified. Insufficient capacity was solved in 1948 by the construction of two wooden pavilions northeast of the school building. A rectangular object with two perpendicular side wings was built on a slope along the road connecting the historic core of Záběhlice with the settlement called Práče.
