Přidá velikou dávku zajímavé historie. Je velmi pozitivní a plný energie. Expozice je velmi příjemně zpracovaná včetně multimediálních funkcí. Celá energetická vodní soustava je opravdu velkým technickým dílem, které stojí za prohlídku. Perfect exposition, very accessible and professionally skilled guide Mr. Běl. He / she is able to present everything in a popular form, with great interest and tries to satisfy and help as much as possible. It adds a great deal of interesting history. It is very positive and full of energy. The exposition is very pleasantly processed including multimedia functions. The whole power water system is really a great technical work worth seeing.
M	Martin A. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Výborný průvodce, který vše podává velmi záživně. Odpoví vám na jakoukoliv drobnost a je vidět, že ho ta práce baví, zajímá a rozumí samotné elektrárně. Samotná expozice je velmi pěkné vytvořená a zaujme jak laika, tak hlavně lidi, zajímající se o stroje, technologie, elektrárny, hydroenergetiku, atd. Součástí je i pohled z okna do haly elektrárny na fungující Francisovy turbíny. Prohlídka je spojena i s návštěvou Malé vodní elektrárny Čeňkova pila. Jedno místo na parkování je úplně přímo před vchodem do Expozice, další jsou o pár desítek metrů níže. Tam zrovna nemusí být vždy místo. Dále se dá zaparkovat u Čeňkovy pily, kde nějaké zaručeně najdete. V době mé návštěvy zde nebylo moc lidí, což si myslím, že je škoda a rozhodně by si tato expozice s prohlídkou malé, fungující elektrárny zasloužila větší zájem turistů. The exhibition itself is very nice created and attracts both laymen and especially people interested in machinery, technology, power plants, hydro power, etc. It also includes a view from the window to the power plant hall on a functioning Francis turbine. The tour is also connected with the visit of the Small Water Power Plant Čeňkova pila. One parking place is directly in front of the entrance to the Exposition, the others are a few tens of meters below. There doesn't always have to be a place there. You can also park at Čeněk's sawmill, where you will surely find some. There were not many people at the time of my visit, which I think is a shame, and certainly this exposition, with a tour of a small, functioning power plant, deserves more interest from tourists.

Začíná se v pravidelných intervalech (obvykle 9, 11, 13 a 15 hod. v letní sezóně) v budově "nové" elektrárny Vydra a pak se přechází do "staré" elektrárny na soutoku. Návštěva trvá skoro 2 hodiny a je tedy vhodné promyslet - pokud jdete s dětmi nebo jste neposedové - zda to není na vás příliš dlouhá doba :-). Při horším počasí většinou zvýšený zájem návštěvníků a téměř vždy problematické parkování. Navštíveno několikrát a zatím vždy (zejména letos 7.8.2019) skvělí průvodci. Successful exposition on the history of electricity production in the Bohemian Forest and construction and operation of the V-T navigation channel. It starts at regular intervals (usually 9, 11, 13 and 15 pm in the summer season) in the building of the "new" Vydra power plant and then passes to the "old" power plant at the confluence. The visit lasts almost 2 hours and it is therefore advisable to think - if you are going with children or are not resting - whether it is not too long for you :-). In worse weather, there is usually increased interest of visitors and almost always problematic parking. Visited several times and so far always (especially this year 7.8.2019) great guides.

K	Karel Harašta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkná expozice s 3D modely krajiny a plavení dřeva na kanále. Dále prohlídka pokračuje k soutoku Vydry a Křemelné kde je dřevěný náhon a stará elektrárna. Nice exposure with 3D landscape models and floating wood on the canal. The tour continues to the confluence of Vydra and Křemelná where there is a wooden drive and an old power plant.
V	Vladan Vlček on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vydra je prostě to nejlepší z Šumavy. Nechal jsem auto na Antýglu (100 Kč celodenní). Od Čenkovi pily autobusem zpět. The otter is simply the best of Šumava. I left the car on Antýgl (100 CZK all day). From Čenkovi saw bus back.
-	- Tomáš - on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V době návštěvy zavřeno, ale i tak to byl zajímavý pohled. Příště se určitě zase zastavíme. Pro návštěvníky doporučení, aby si zkontrolovali dobu otevření, exkurze s průvodcem je zdarma. Closed at the time of the visit, but it was still an interesting sight. We will definitely stop again next time. Recommended for visitors to check the opening hours, guided tours are free.
