★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na FAI se dají studovat tři hlavní oblasti: Informační, řídicí a bezpečnostní technologie.
Moderní prosvětlená budova stojí nad vilou T. Bati a z vyšší budovy je velmi pěkný pohled na Zlín.
Budova byla postavena a otevřena v r. 2004 přestavbou bývalé 13. základní školy. FAI vznikla v r. 2006. V areálu se nachází 3 velké posluchárny s kapacitou 160, 88 a 60 míst a dále mnoho přednáškových a seminárních místností menších. Většinu odborných laboratoří tvoří laboratoře počítačové, najdeme zde ale i laboratoře zaměřené na kamerovou bezpečnost, mikropočítače, PLC, mechanickou bezpečnost, elektroniku, počítačové sítě, atd.
Součástí je i menza, která slouží i cizím strávníkům mimo FAI.
Three main areas can be studied at FAI: Information, Control and Security Technologies.
The modern lighted building stands above the villa of T. Bata and from the taller building there is a very nice view of Zlín.
The building was built and opened in 2004 by the reconstruction of the former 13th primary school. FAI was established in 2006. There are 3 large auditoriums with a capacity of 160, 88 and 60 seats, as well as many smaller lecture and seminar rooms. Most professional laboratories are computer laboratories, but we can also find laboratories focused on camera security, microcomputers, PLCs, mechanical security, electronics, computer networks, etc.
There is also a canteen, which also serves foreign diners outside the FAI.
