I am amused when I read here what all the HOW knows, or rather does not know. Therefore, I would like to use the text I wrote at a Prague school. Bishop of the Unity of Brethren, philosopher, theologian, creator of modern pedagogy, theoretician of literature and poet Jan Amos Comenius lived to be blessed 78 years. All this as a small example for contemporary students.

The Church of the Czech Brethren Church is located in Přerov, Velké Novosady near the Czech Railways and the BUS railway station at the Railway Polyclinic . It was built in 1907–1908 by the Czech Brethren Evangelical Church in Přerov. The designer of the building was the German architect Augustin Otto Kuhlmann. The Evangelical Church in Přerov is an extraordinary building, launching a completely new concept of sacral buildings, which has become a model for a number of churches built to this day. The inconspicuous statue in front of the church is also historically very valuable. This is the first statue in Moravia on which our great J.A. Comenius. The author of the work from 1874 is T. Seidan. The statue originally stood on the Upper Square until 1891, from where it was moved. The reason was quite curious - at the time of the markets, people prayed to the statue. The Catholic Church therefore had the statue relocated to its current location next to the grammar school. Subsequently, the dominant evangelical church was added to it. In the years 1991 - 1992, the roof and facade of the church were repaired. The church was declared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic in 1995. In 1997, the entire interior of the church was destroyed by a flood. The interior was restored according to the project of Ing. architect Josef Barták, the church was ceremoniously opened after the flood on October 31, 1999.
